Smoothie Bowl


Smoothie bowls are my absolute favorite breakfast, they are full of flavor, if done right they are very filling, sweet like dessert for breakfast, and full of nutrition. Now don't get me wrong, full of nutrition does not mean healthy, it is also full of sugar, like my trainer said, you might as well open a bag of sugar and dump it in your mouth.

Use with moderation, like a cheat meal, as a reward for being good on your diet, believe me, I am looking forward to Sunday for my treat, it is my addiction.

1 Banana

1 Package (3.5 OZ) of pureed açaí Berry, you can replace this with pretty much anything, blueberries, blackberries, strawberries.

3 Big tablespoons of greek yogurt, my favorite is honey flavor but you can use plain or vanilla flavored.

1 Scoop of protein powder, vanilla or strawberry flavored

1 Tablespoon of chia seeds

1 Tablespoon of flax seeds

2 Tablespoon of oatmeal

1 handful of blueberries

5 slices of banana

1 Tablespoon of honey

1 strawberry (optional)

In a blender, place a full banana, the açaí, the yogurt, the protein and blend it all together.

place on a bowl and garnish with the chia & flax seeds the oats, the slices of banana, the blueberries, cut the strawberry in slices and use it for garnish as well, finally drizzle with honey.

You can choose to make it beautiful or simply dump everything on top and eat it like that, it's yummy no matter what and super quick to make.
