Vegas Baby! Vegas.

Updated: May 21, 2020

Have I told you before, that I am absolutely clumsy and that even tho I believe to have good luck in general, I sometimes get myself in the weirdest and most importantly the most ridiculous situations ever? Not to worry I am safe and sound and my trip to Vegas turned out to be a pretty awesome adventure, but I did learn a few valuable lessons.

The mistakes I made:

1. Walked 6 miles in sandals.

Yup, I did that, I walked precisely 3 miles from my hotel to the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" Sign. and 3 miles back, on the thinnest sandals ever!! Not only did my fit hurt from walking so long, but it was so hot outside that the floor was burning my feet through skinny miny sandals.

2. Attended a pool party without a swimming suit.

Its always good to research the places where you are planning to go. I went to see David Guetta at a really nice club, well I didn't know the party was in the pool and thank goodness they sell swimming suits at the club otherwise I would have had a pretty boring time since all the fun was happening at the pool.

3. Missed my Flight back home.

While in Vegas, there was a very big festival going on, we got an uber and there was so much traffic that by the time we made it to the airport, we were not allowed to walk into our flight. we ended up being stuck at the airport for over 12 hours and I was super late for work.

Now, since we have all learned from my mistakes, let's concentrate on the good things about this trip.

1. I played only one dollar in Vegas.

And I lost it! hahaha, I wasn't about to play a bunch of money, I hate losing so risking not winning wasn't about to happen, but I did want to gamble because it was part of the Vegas experience.

2. I Saw David Guetta

Since I went to college, my friends and I have had a special love for David Guetta's music, his songs had the power of bringing us together in the middle of the dancefloor regardless of who we were with or what we were doing.

3. I left the strip to see Downton Las Vegas.

Not to be confused with The Strip, Downtown Las Vegas is the old-fashioned Vegas that you can see on gangster movies. it is the original las vegas, the loud music the crazy performers, and the beautiful neon lights, makes this place exceptionally special.

regardless of if my feet hurt or if I didn't have a swimming suit, what matters the most is that the adventure was epic, never in my wildest dreams did I ever dream to be literally at a pool party with David Guetta, so even if you are not physically prepared for a great adventure, if you are mentally ready to give your best, things will always turn out just fine!

Hope you all have a great weekend!!!

Yours,

Juls
